Canada’s Advisory Council on Economic Growth: Role of the Innovation Economy

In March, the Minister of Finance, Bill Morneau, announced a new Advisory Council on Economic Growth that is tasked with giving direction on not only the Innovation Agenda, but also economic growth writ large. Ilse Treurnicht, CEO of MaRS, is on the council and will be interviewed by Alison Nankivell , CIX Co-Chair and Vice President, Funds and Co-investment at BDC Capital, on the council’s mandate, recommendations and outlook as it pertains to Canada’s innovation ecosystem.

CIX is proud to announce that Wattpad, one of Canada’s fastest growing companies, has been named the 2016 CIX Innovator of the Year.
